Techie Turned Gym Bro

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and earned my BA in Linguistics from UC Santa Cruz before launching a career in the text-to-speech industry. Working in tech was fast-paced and exciting, but like so many of my colleagues, I struggled to find a balance between my career and prioritizing my health. Long hours, deadlines, and an always-on work culture made it easy to push fitness to the back burner. I learned pretty quickly that if I didn’t implement real strategy into my fitness routine, it would never make it onto the calendar.

That’s when I started working on ways to make my strength and fitness a top priority in my routine. Over the years, I started to feel more energized, my stress levels dropped, and I became ultra curious about what my body could do. From there I found a supportive community in powerlifting, and in 2023, I competed on the national platform for the first time. Learning to challenge my body has made me a resilient human in all aspects, and it became my mission to help others overcome the same overwhelm I had felt when I first started out.

In 2017, I earned my personal training certification to train clients between tech projects. In 2020, I took the leap and left tech to pursue coaching full-time. Now, I help busy, ambitious people build sustainable training routines that fit into their lives—not compete with them. Whether your goal is to get stronger, work out around pain, or just feel better in your body, I’m here to help you make fitness something that sticks.
